Hi, this is my first time here so please be easy. :) I recently purchased a 2007 Accord Coupe EX and decided to get a Soundgate SNHOND3 setup to hook up my mp3 player to. However, i had read somewhere that Honda uses different manufacturers for its radio/CD changer system (depending on the year), and therefore could possibly have different locations for the 14-pin connector.

I was wondering if anyone could verify where the location of the 14-pin connector is on the 2007 accord, as i've seen a lot of the DIYs have been for the 2004-2005 models. I didn't want to start ripping out the center console and find out its not where its supposed to be in the DIY. I have a 6-CD changer, no XM, no navi. Thanks for your help guys!! im loving the content on the forum.

I have a 2006 and used write ups from 04 and 05 models. Don't worry, you will be fine. I went over every minute detail before getting dirty on this project so I know where you are coming from. Even if the pin connector is moved to a different location from the 2006 to the 2007, you will still be able to get to it when you start the install because there are only so many places that the pin connector can be and you can easily access any of them once you have taken apart your interior. Sounds like you have done your research, so just install it, you'll be fine. Enjoy!!
