Hey guys i have to post a pic.. but i removed the black tape thats around the window moldings above the window it looked crappy when i saw it bubbling etc.. i said to myself this looks cheap.. so i removed it and used the mr clean magic sponge to remove the adhesive.(use a lot of water with it)
Looks good .. it revealed a bright chrome /polished surface looks pretty cool i gotta say.. different

I've noticed on our 06 its starting to come up a bit in places. So its chrome under there huh...Interesting...

Yeah .. it may look even cooler on 4 door models cause you can remove it and it will go from front to back window
I did just the top not the bottom..

I thought that all 7th gen Accords had chrome window moldings? :dunno:
Did you buy the car new? Maybe the previous owner put black tape over the chrome surface - I actually prefer the all-black look around the windows...

Sedans don't have the black tape over the chrome. Only the coupes came with it, and yes underneath is shiny chrome. The only reason I see for the tape is that they didn't want to do a chrome window surround on the sail (triangular) window to cut cost. I've seena a coupe without the black tape and it looks unfinished because it doesn't extend all around IMO. Let's see the pics though, maybe he did a better job that the one I saw.
