My accord is only about 3 months/ 5k miles old. The other day I noticed that the plastic steering wheel cover was cracked under the vinyl. The peice I am talking about is the plastic cover in the center of the steering wheel with the H symbol on it that covers the driver airbag. The plastic under the vinyl appears to be cracked, however the vinyl itself is still intact for now. You can clearly see the outline of where the plastic underneath is cracked.

My questions....

Anyone else have this issue?
Is it covered under warranty?

Nope, haven't heard/seen that one..... Yes, it should be covered under warranty if you're under 36K & probably covered even if you're not.

I know what your talking about... It's the way it's made so the airbag can easily get out through those "cracks".... It's normal don't worry about it.. Unless mine is broken too! OMG. :nuts:

I just went out and looked at my 07, and I can see it as well. It looks like its just where the airbag cover will seperate when the airbag is deployed.
