RTexasF 08-06-2007, 03:55 PM Beautiful ride. Any more shine and I'd need my shades just to look at the pictures. Sharp wheels also, very tastefully done.
alpha 08-06-2007, 04:28 PM As I said on g7a, very nice!! it's coming along quite nicely, keep up the good work!
namegoeshere 08-06-2007, 05:04 PM  on the color, wheels, and front lip. Looks like an EX-L, right?
Want the wheels and lip myself..... some day. :dunno:

SiClone 08-06-2007, 07:59 PM I need to find me a lip on the cheap.....

Hey good seeing you here too! :D Do you have any other plans for your car?
freesole 08-06-2007, 09:26 PM Thanks for the compliments guys. Hybrid tails will be installed when they arrive and retros are the next step for the headlights. Getting a fellow G7A'er to do it for me if he agrees :) More pictures then.

Actually this is an SE, kind of wish I got the NAVI but ah well. You should definitely get the lip, it's quite easy to mod and it enhances the look by quite a bit.

Not for now. I'm not 100% sure, but I may be done with the car. I may get a DICE iPod adapter, and then call it done. Or I might drop it, get a lip kit, etc..
Nimoxp 08-06-2007, 10:20 PM Very Nice car. I think every accord requires a front lip. I really want those HFP rims, but Im thinking i need a drop first.
messfeeder 08-06-2007, 11:44 PM I really like the wheels! That's exactly the look I want for my Accord, minus the spoiler.

An SE with a moon roof and what looks like a leather interior? When did this happen, or are you not in the U.S.?

Only 239 at hardtopguy.com :)

SE's do come with moon roof's actually. Or at least I got the option if it wasn't standard. They do not come with leather interior however, though I got Honda to install it (I have a friend who works at the dealership who gave me a good deal). And I'm from Vancouver, BC :)

Hehe looking forward to seeing the progress on your car. The decklid spoiler would look good too, or are you not getting any spoiler at all?

I'm just not into the spoiler look on the Accord sedan. I figure I drive a 4 cyl family sedan, so why try to make it look so sporty? I would do it if I had the v6 coupe, though!
lebomb 08-07-2007, 09:33 AM You didnt blur out your plate number in the second pic. Oh yeah, nice car.

Checking the Canadian Honda site... looks like you guys get the moon roof as standard equipment on the SE model while those of us south of the border don't. Bummer.
Just wondering why you didn't get the EX instead, or was the SE cheaper even after replacing the interior with leather?

Thanks for pointing that out

The EX was still going to be quite a bit more expensive even with the leather installed since I got such a good deal on that. Honestly, the money I saved by getting the SE has more than provided for the mods that I've done now and in the future.
Shalynne 08-07-2007, 12:36 PM What's the front lip everyone's been commenting on? I've been lookin at the pictures and I don't see it? Am I blind?:dunno:
Shalynne 08-07-2007, 12:50 PM Ummmm, never mind. (hand smacks forhead)

:lmao: I noticed that too!
mhass33 08-09-2007, 09:21 AM Why the rear sway bar? I've seen people get that but I don't what it does exactly?
And how wide are the tires you use?
Sharp ride... I really like it and am moving toward making my 07 GP LX look similar.

The rear sway bar greatly reduces the body roll in the car as you turn. The difference between this sway bar and the stock is about 6mm but you could tell that the TL-S bar is substantially heavier, and therefore more sturdy.
Basically it helps you make quicker turns without the car "leaning" away from the turn as much. The difference was night and day and now I can definitely make those S turns like the car was on a rail. I highly recommend it.
The tires are 215, if you go with a 17" tire, the ideal size is 215/50/17 for our accords.
mhass33 08-10-2007, 06:40 AM Thanks a lot for your response
Do you think 235 is too wide for an accord? I like the look of wider tires and want to put TL rims on mine.
Accordlover 08-10-2007, 06:48 AM I see an MDX in the Garage. :naughty:
Looks great.

Np. This depends on the width of the TL rims, I believe they are 7.5"? You might be able to get away with that, but at 7" width, you should go no higher than 225. The reason why is because a 235 will throw your odometer off by about 2mph.

That's correct :) Great car btw, lots of power and very smooth ride. Too bad I don't get to drive it though lol.
justblink778 08-11-2007, 06:40 AM haha I was getting ready to mention the MDX and RSX.

Cutoff pictures: The beam is almost aligned, some tinkering will be necessary but almost there. Then I just have to work on the height from the oem adjustment screw. Keep in mind, these pictures with daylight in the garage!
