I seem to be having the opposite reaction: I loved it at first, but I like it less and less each time I look at it. The front is AWESOME but the rear, it falls apart fast once you get past the door and looks terribly awkward IMO.

I will save my final judgment for when I see it in person, but for now, I am disappointed. I can't wait to see more pics of the sedan to see how that ends up for me. My heart was leaning towards a coupe because I haven't owned one in YEARS and wanted something different, but...that's the way the cookie crumbles I guess and at the end of the day, a car is a car is a car...as long as I get from point A to B, I'm okay.

*The color could make a HUGE difference too, though, much like the 7th gen. for me.

And something else I noticed: why would you even bother putting a rear headrest on the MIDDLE seat in a coupe?!? That thing is going to obstruct the rear vision even more. :dunno:

So the Accord will have HID projector headlights? Doesn't look like it'll have LED tail lights like the current Accords though :(

I just don't understand how the guy didn't get more pictures of the interior... the one that he did take doesn't show too much.

I'd really like to see the new gray with the TL Type-S wheels...

I'd be more willing to bet that it will be Halogen projectors..

wow, it actually looks nice in silver. too bad that there's still tape all over the car. only a couple of months until the official release. i think the coupe looks alot better than the sedan. hopefully, these newer accords dont grow too much dimensionally and definitely have a significant weight decrease.

Wow, great pictures! Those are the best pictures I've seen of the coupe yet. This thing is being spotted everywhere. Who the hell is driving these coupes? They're not even for sale yet. And please, whoever thinks covering up the little "H" symbol on the front grill is going to prevent people from knowing what it is? Get real! That's like when Clark Kent changes to Superman and no one recognizing him because he's not wearing his classes.

I have to say, the more pictures of this new coupe I see, the more jealous I get. No, I'm not having buyers remorse, but I'll be damned if this is not the best looking Accord coupe I've ever seen. I bet it will be even more stunning in person where you can see it in 3D rather than 2D pictures.

The 8th gen Accord looks like one of those cars you have to see in person to judge its looks...Can't wait to see it in showrooms this October.:)

If you look at the pics closely, you can see that they covered most of the dash, etc., with a towel or blanket. I'm sure he/she didn't take any more pics because you really can't see much.

Who the hell is driving these coupes?
LOL I am wondering the same thing! But judging by the locations (these pics are from OH) I imagine these are straight from the factory. I wonder what lucky soul gets to be the tester, and where do I sign up! :D

Actually, the latest reports say late August/early Sept.

I still want to see more spy shots of the sedan!!! Who's driving those things around?!?

The coupe seems to be everywhere in OH, and even running them through the car washes now!

Still liking the coupe. And it looks really nice in silver. The leather interior looks nice too. Starting to wish I got leather interior in mine, but I didn't want my dog's nails scratching it all up when I take her places. Okay, I'm tempted. :D

But damn are those wheels fugly. :thumbsdow

.....my first leather interior seems to be holding up OK. A nail trim and use of my old boat cloak appears to do wonders for leather longevity. (Actually, the spaniel looks pretty good in the boat cloak)................

New coupe has redesigned 6M shifter;covered center cupholders.........test drive should prove interesting after feeding frenzy abates.........

..should prove an interesting late summer/fall........

..cheers, ez...

Looks pretty sharp to me. We will have to see how they did the the car b/c if the 3.5L is in there (we don't know yet do we?) and they didn't put an LSD up there....it's going to get fun....

We will have to see.....if they want the MT to be a real success, let's hope they borrowed some TL parts up front.

A dog is the only thing that stopped you from getting leather seats? I have a dog, he's a Pitbull and I have no problems traveling with him. Dude, you should have done a little more research. You could have gotten this:

http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=84552444181 6415&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302032883&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023689&bmUID=1186945587943&itemNo=44&In=Dog&N=2032883&Ne=2

Or even better, this is what I use and it works like I charm, no scratches, no pet hair, and no problems taking the dog with me:

I don't have that problem. My Pit is actually very good in the car, so the pet hammock is really I all need. He gets back there and just lies down, but occassionally he'll move around a bit, but never goes nuts scratching at things. I'm sure they make something to cover the door panels, automotive pet car is big business. Search around on Petsmart and they might have something, or even do a Google search. Heck you could probably even get creative on your own and duct tape a towel to each door panel in a pinch. But having a dog definitely shouldn't have stopped you from buying a car with leather seats. If anything, that's all the more reason to buy a car with leather seats. Any pet hair wipes right off, unlike with cloth where it tends to become embedded in the seats, requiring vacuuming.

I like the way the new coupe looks. I agree with the comments about the rear end though, its so so for me. I'll probably like the car itself more if I see it in person. It's weird, however, how the hood doesn't line up with the front qt. panels anymore, the bumper facia goes up further.

I like the new shift knob, its BMW-esque

I love the way the headlights are arranged on the coupe, its way agressive looking, imo

No, it wasn't just the dog. To get leather, I would have had to get the EX-L (another $5,000) which was a bit more than I wanted to spend at the time. There was also the maintenance I didn't want to deal with as well.

I already have the seat cover for my dog so I knew of that already, but thanks anyways.

ehh..leather seats for me are out of the question too kuz of surfing...i go all the time and even though carseats help..the salt water get's to the bottom of it....i tried using them an d still my seats underneath were still wet (and they were the expensive ones), so *shsrug*....i've seen what salt water does to leather..again and again..yuck!
