Well i'll try to explain quick as possible , I have a 04 EXL-Nav i recently changed my speakers all away around to alpine type s . while that did improve sound greatly the deck was clipping the speakers during low end bass bad at about 30 so i took out the good old RF 200.4(2003) and had it installed . now i have no mid bass(even more clipping ) it s loud my vocals are clear but no bass with out clipping, And to add to the problem i lost illumination around the center dash , steering wheel controls for voice command, volume, seek, ect. idk what they did behind the deck to cause this . well i got some choice just wanted some opinions, 1. Pull the install out 2. change the speakers or amp(to newer 1 for more sound options) 3. take out amp install basslink 2 with amp module to power interior and have bass support. 4. any good ideal you guys come up with . i really dont know what to do im so dissappointed i wish i didnt get nav cause then i would have kept my pioneer 780 p deck . thanks in advanced any help is good help, oh yeah i unplugged the tweets so thats not the problem

It shouldn't be that easy to notice clipping at low frequencies. But can't you set the HP filters on the amp to something like 40Hz?

I can also suggest checking your gains? Can you post the specs of the speakers?

As for midbass, if I'm not mistaken, the BASS setting in the stock headunit will increase midbass more than bass, you could try playing around there too.
