I'm curious if anyone has installed a drop-down screen & dvd player in their Accord. I know on some cars it can be a little challenging if there are airbags in the a/b pillars. Any pics would be appreciated.

Honda dealers nearby are trying to work around installing the drop down video screens because they partially block the rear view mirror.

I installed one in my Accord. If you have any radio installation experience, even a little, you should be able to do it yourself as I did. It is not very hard, just time consuming. Oh and it was a little hard to cut into my headliner, not physically, but mentally. As for the airbag situation, I have the side airbags and had no problem with them on the install. They are wrapped up pretty snug on the pillar. I wouldn't go banging on them or anything but I think you will be safe because thats where the dealer is going to take the wires. As for the blocking of the rear view mirror. Yeah it blocks it when it is folded down, but not enough to cause major concern. Here is a link for the instructions that I used

I hope this helps. It has benn a great addition to my car especially on those long trips with my son.

The Honda instructions are in the "instructions" area. "VES" vehicle entertainment system.... both with & without moonroof for the '04

I installed a motorized screen in my '04.
Not that difficult, just had to be careful to route the cables away from the airbags. Also make sure everything is fused because god forbid you get in an accident and your car catches on fire.
The headliner was the hardest part emotionally. I also had to modify my mounting bracket to take advantage of the OEM mounting holes.
Audio is still being worked on. Right now I use an FM modulator (which is also what the OEM i-VES uses). However, I want to use an aux adapter as soon as they figure out how to make it work with my factory XM.

Try Blitzsafe for checking on something that'll work with the OEM....

I actually bought a blitzsafe adapter from LogJam electronics and it worked only if I disconnected the XM.
The problem is that the blitzsafe adapter remains connected to the audio in line of the H/U even when CD-C is not selected. If they fix this so that it disconnects itself from the audio portion of the bus when CD-C is not selected it would work fine with XM.

It was worth a shot. It was the only one that we could find that had what was needed when we put MP3 in the Pilot. There was also a company that started with a P. I'll ask if he remembers which one that was.....

Perhaps you mean PIE? or PAC?
I wanted to try a different brand but I haven't heard of any success with XM. If you find out please let me know :)

I looked around for an adapter for the 04 made by Peripheral and all they have is up to 02.
Where did he get it from?
