I've recently purchased a 1999 Accord EX Sedan as a commuter car. I bought it from a family member for cheap with 78K miles on it, always garaged, original owner, all maintenance done by local dealer. I really like the car as far as how it drives and the great gas mileage. The problem is that it's a little "grocery getter" for my tastes.
I'd like to do a few things to make it a little more fitting like wheels/tires and a spoiler.
I know nothing about Accord's or modifying them so any help is appreciated.
I like the look of something like these but have no idea if they'll actually fit. The car is white with tan interior.

This is just a commuter car so I don't want to drop a ton of cash into it.
Any help would be appreciated. The car currently has the stock alloy 4 lug wheels on it.

Yes, those rims will fit, but it will look funny if you don't lower your car. When tire sidewall height nears the wheel-fender gap height, it's makes your car look lifted.

What do you suggest. I've never even owned a car before in my life, always 4WD trucks / SUVs.

well regarding tires, i'd recommend the Yokohama Avid HS4 line. They're fabulous...low noise, great traction in the wet/dry, wear well, are reasonably priced. Many members here love them.

That's the tire I was going to use.
I've been doing quite a bit of reading and it seems the ADR wheels I saw are cheap knock offs. I've been looking at Discount tire for some better ones or www.tirerack.com.
The car rides VERY nice at this point and I don't want to upset that too much. I'm not looking for a sporty feel as this is a little 4banger after all and I have a SC'd 4Runner for when I wanna surprise people.
It seems a lot of folks that have tried upgrading wheels haven't been happy with the resulting ride quality change.
I may get these in a 17" rather than an 18" to keep the comfy ride. I need to go talk to a tire shop to see what the deal is.

I would say keep it below 17" or else you will ride like a rollerskate. Maybe after you get rims you should go with a mild drop to make it look a little more even.
