Do you plan on dropping the car any?

I wish. I am just waiting for my skirting(side, front and rear) to arrive.
Thanks steven.
stevencrosbie 08-19-2007, 03:46 AM The skirting will change the look a lot. More pics when that gets in. Heck, the skirting might even make it not need the look of a drop. (I would never have thought to have a drop in the years before the TL....but once I got it...you just look for it more).
Looks good. How do you like the tires so far. I've seen some pretty good prices on Dunlop tires.

Got the point Steven. But I dont want to gamble to drop first then regret after I got the parts. Anyway that would happen in a month. Ill post an update after.
I love the driving so far. It really makes a difference compare to the stocks before. For the prices, I cant compare the Dunlop to any other Japan tyres. Since I asked for Japan made tyres only. The salesman offer for Korean brands but I refused. Anyway the 4 tyres cost me around $380 and I guess I got the right offer.:dunno:
alpha 08-19-2007, 09:06 AM The accord tire size for the 17s is 215/50/17. Why did you go with a 45 series tire?
Anyways, it looks great!
AccordEd 08-19-2007, 06:25 PM Nice 4x4:)
I think you should have invested in a nice suspension
first, then wheels, then bodykit, etc...

That's probably smart. The skirts do lower the edges a little and make scraping a little more of an issue. My parents have a pretty steep driveway and when I get to the bottom I have to move at a snails pace or I scrape either the front lip or the tailpipes, though any other time I don't have to pay special attention unless I am speeding over bumps and big dips. I think that the HFP suspension kit looks really nice on the sedans though, and the aftermarket stuff looks a little out of place. It's a little expensive compared to some more robust aftermarket stuff (I got mine for 500some and it was worth it), but it really improves the looks with aftermarket wheels.
I do like those wheels a lot, though the picture is a little decieving because your tread is so dusty and it makes the sidewall look a lot taller.
Nimoxp 08-19-2007, 08:42 PM Nice rims, but yeah...when adding rims to an accord, a drop is pretty much a must. Just makes the gaps look that much larger.

I asked for the saleman and he said that's the size best fit for 17's. Im :paranoid: now for that info since I am traveling a lot everyday and by evening I am loaded with three passengers but only a 2kms distance.
Thanks for the info alpha.

I dont have much knowledge about suspension factor, any tips AccordEd?
Since I am thinking to invest for wheels and bodykits.:D

lol, I understand. I wasn't complaining though, im sure if you drive it around a clean block that stuff'll be gone. Speaking of, I really need to clean and dress my tires. Maybe tomorrow.

Fine chanke, anyway by weekend Ill do more photoshooting!
Btw, is that your coupe in your avatar? that's with front lip right? How much does it cost there for skirting(side, front and rear)?
chanke4252 08-19-2007, 10:37 PM You know, I just noticed, you have an 06. They actually don't make the oem lips or side skirts for the 06-07 sedans. They might make something aftermarket, but I generally don't like the look of most non-oem aftermarket body additions as I think they look tacky. There are a couple people who have modified a 03-05 lip to fit, but that's pretty annoying to do so it isn't very popular. I guess you could take it to a body shop and have them modify it to fit, but they'd probably charge you enough that it wouldn't be worth it any longer. :dunno:
Yah, that's my coupe in my avatar. They don't sell side skirts for the 06-07 coupes either, just the front and rear lips. I think I got them for around 260 a piece front and rear. I don't remember though, it was a while ago. Though, shipping was a killer because they are such big items to ship. I got them from HandAAccessores I think.
Are you just looking to just dress up the exterior a little? I would check out http://www.handa-accessories.com as they seem to have most of the exterior honda addons available, fast shipping and really good customer service apparently. Much cheaper than buying them from the local dealership, that's for sure (especially if you install it yourself). Though, I got my oem wing spoiler and used fogs on ebay for really cheap considering they are actual honda parts, so that might be something worth investigating if you are the ebaying type.
