Saw this on the net and got a kick out of it. I bet the firemen had fun doing this one.

That's funny!
Figures it was a BMW driver!

I might take some heat for that comment from beamer drivers, but I call 'em like I see 'em!

The guy behind him is already parked too close to the hydrant! That guy does deserve to have his windows broken. If he was driving something lighter, then it might have been carried out of there! :lmao: I think it was in Italy or some european country where the roads were very narrow. When a car stops in the way of the tour bus, the tour guide would ask about 6 people to carry the car out of the way of the bus! :lmao: funniest thing I've ever heard!

In NYC you can't park within 15 feet of either side of the hydrant.

Needless to say, people respect that rule.

You can stand in front of a hydrant, as long as there is someone to move the vehicle.

I think that volunteer firefighters are more likely to have "fun" like this on the job than regular non-volunteer firefighters.

I hate to break everyone's bubble but I think that is from a movie. I can't remember which movie but I do remember that scene.

The movie was Backdraft (1991) :)

They don't put license plates in movies?

Maybe the license plate was blurred out to make it look like it didn't come from a movie.

Even if this was a movie though, I know one volunteer FF who told me he did this already.
