Or will it allow the car to unlock itself as you approach the car (like the Lexus IS, Infiniti G35, and even the ugh.. Altimas).
This is one of the main points that I was looking forward to in the new 8th gen Accord. My 04 LX Sedan is a good car, but I only wished I had gotten the V6 coupe instead back then. I was looking to get a 2008 V6 Coupe but with this feature missing, I might just opt for a used 06 IS350... :(

No, the keyless entry system still appears to be the same as the 7th gen one. However, personally I wouldn't pass on the '08 Coupe just because it's missing that "feature"
Yeah that feature isn't something worth passing up the 08 accord for. But the IS350 as a whole is a nice enough car to pass up the 08 accord for, I think. If you can afford it.

It would still depend on how much you like to spend.
The IS is still going to cost more used.
Is going to need brakes and tires sooner - Serious $$$
Will need maintenance in general sooner - $$$ if you don't do it yourself.
So if you want to spend more, spend more. It's always gonna be like the saying goes... "You get what you pay for."
