I just added a OEM Honda cd changer to my '96 Accord EX that came with AM/FM casette player. The cd unit is 8-pin as is the back of the radio connector, but I'm getting nothing out of the changer. When I press on the AM/CD button on the radio, no CD light comes on, it just stays on AM.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Do you have both units grounded?? The 8 pin may have the ground in it, I'm not sure but it's worth checking..
Will it eject the changer cassette ok?

Thanks for the quick reply. I went out and checked the cord from the back of the radio to the cd changer. There is 12 volts going to the changer and one of the eight pins is a ground, too, so power and grounding aren't the problems.

I forgot to mention, no, the cd changer will not eject the cd magazine. The changer acts like it has no life.
