Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with a good replacement battery. mine is about 7 yrs old (original) and it is acting like it wants to die.
Thanks.

Napa Legend 7535 - upgraded my '05 LX 4cyl with it (from the pathetic smaller battery) and it's worked out great - and the price was right at around $63

The Napa Legend 7535 was Consumer Reports top rated Group 35 battery in their latest test of car batteries. (If the 2000 V6 takes a different group number - just check on your battery - let me know and I'll check CR's report for that group size.)

Most batteries are pretty much the same since there only 3 manufacturers left in the US. Just get one with enough CCA (amps) to match your original that lasted 7 years. I got my replacement for the 2000 at Walmart.
The Optima sealed batteries are nice and clean but nearly twice the price of standard batteries.

The yellow battery at Walmart is a good choice b/c of the warranty as well as the one from your dealer. Acura replaced my battery (under warranty) and the replacement is 3 years free replacement and I think 100 months prorated.

Hey thanks to all that replied. I appreciate your suggestions. I went by Walmart to look at the "yellow" battery and it does seem like a good buy with a decent warranty. I'll let you know what works out.
