Judging from the article, this is only for the ultra-low emissions (PZEV) vehicles, not the entire 08 accord line itself. It goes to show you our gov't supposedly wants to clean our air, yet we fine automakers if they sell these environmentally friendly cars outside of the tough pollution law states. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Wow. Never really thought about it in that perspective. Makes me want to fit fuel injection and a catalytic converter to my lawn mower!

BTW, PZEV is Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (one that meets Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV) standards and that has a sealed evaporative fuel system so nothing escapes while the vehicle is not being driven).
