Seems ideal. I took off my stock 205/60-16 a few days after buying my '07. They did not ride nor handle right. I got General Exclaim UHP for front and Kumho ASX for rear and will rotate them later on for winter. The car is totally transformed. Ride is better, by far and the car handles like my TSX loaners. Just wanted to put the word out. btw- both model tires came in at $75, although the size generally runs a good $20 extra over stock size. Worth it, and I'm cheap. Also, the car even looks better with some meat on the bones.

Good to hear! My gf and I just put some General Exclaims on her civic and the ride was transformed completely and the tires are great, when my michelins go out, thats what im going with, the price was incredible and the tires are superb in the rain.

general tires seem to be really good bang for the buck. i got general grabber UHP's for the pilot, and theyre grippier (especially in rain, even though its a "summer" performance truck tire :dunno: ) and quieter than the stock bridgestones. not to mention the directional tread pattern looks aggressive ;) all for $80 ish a pop on tire rack, which was cheaper than the OE tires IIRC.

Continental makes them in France. Some of the best tires I used were ContiExtremes. I could not pop for them this time around. Anyway, there are also the new General Altimax line, worth a try.

Maybe I should try 225/45/17 next time instead of oem 215/50/17.

More selection, lower prices, better handling in 225 size. Sounds good to me.
