I just left the dealership and "lifted" a brouchure. This is the worst brochure i have ever seen. Photography sucks, and the car colors are no where near actual. The car must make up for the difference, dont waste ur time on one.

Isn't there usually two separate brochures for the coupe and sedan? Wonder what happened to make Honda combine them.

this one is really confusing with putting both in one brochure, and also some pictures are in in black & white:dunno:
I have a brochure, also. I agree - it kind of sucks. There are hardly any good pics of the car. The only good pic of the dash board is spread across the seam of the brochure and you can't even see the NAVI screen and center console. And the above shots with the the different colored Accords parked all over the page . . . *that is the color chart* . . . its a little confusing.
I'm hoping this is like an intro brochure or something and separate, more detailed brochures will come out for the coupe and sedan.

I like the idea of showing the available car colors using a picture of the actual car itself instead of a bunch of color swatches. But from what I can see, the color layout doesn't look like it was executed properly.
I still want a brochure though.

25+ shipping is wayy too steep for something thats going to be free in the next few weeks.

It is kind of helpful in one respect to see the colors on the car but the printed material itself doesn't seem to accurately represent the color like a glossy swatch would.
The Basque Red looks burgandy with a very purple undertone.
The Mystic Green looks neat - think Graphite Gray with a very sage/moss green under tone.
Polished Metal looks, gray-ish. Cant tell if it favors light grey or the current Carbon Bronze more.
Of course, in the sunlight, under flourescent lights, etc. . . its all gonna look different. Me thinks they'll look best withh me sitting behind the wheel however . . .

I hope he gets zero bids. considering honda wants to sell 430,000 accords (or something like that) in 2008, i'm sure the brochures won't be in short supply. my dealer already has them.
I did pay $15 for a mint-condition brochure on the 1998 model year. It was the only model year I was missing :) I collect them.

I hope he gets zero bids.
Or conversely, I hope he gets a lot of fake bids. People should bid like $10,000 or something ridiculous so he'll have to cancel them all. :naughty:

Again, not my brochure. Found it on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-Honda-Accord-Sedan-Coupe-Brochure-New_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34223QQihZ008QQitem Z180157572472QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW).
Interior has an Acura RL-like richness.

Just picked up my brochure today, and I agree it sucks. It is verified that this brochure is the ONLY brochure for all Accords, coupe and sedan. So, I'm guessing Honda just wanted to trim the budget a bit on publications. Okay with me, so long as they reinvested the savings in that department back into the car (which it appears they have).

On Deck: '08 Accord V6 6 speed coupe
What does On Deck mean? Have you put a down-payment on a new coupe? If so, what color? Also, did you get a good deal or are you paying MSRP?
In my neck of the woods, Honda dealers are saying MSRP for the '08 Accord (although one salesman said he'd knock off a few hundred bucks cause he knows me).

I have the 08 catalog too and it was skimpy hope they come out with a better one later on. Yes, right now it seems they combined the coupe with sedan for a single catalog.

The '08 Coupe will be my next car, but since every dealer I've visited so far will not budge from MSRP and one said I'd pay $500 over (yeah right), I might just wait till next year when dealers start loosening up.
I NEVER pay sticker for a car. With the possible exception of a Ferrari 575 Modena.
