View Full Version : 2003 V6 6 Speed Rear Speaker Connector Diagram radziu 09-21-2007, 09:08 PM Can't find it, install dr was wrong, some '05 diagram was wrong. Anyone have 03 6spd? Need to hook up rear speakers to amp for sub. MJL 09-22-2007, 06:43 AM What wire colors did install dr tell you were the right ones? Are you splicing into the rear speaker lines at the speaker or behind the head unit? Colors should be the same for all model years AFAIK. The wiring diagram I have goes like this if it helps: The speaker wires at the harness are: (Rt=right L=left F=front R=rear; first color is wire color, second is stripe color) Pink: RtR+ Blue/yellow: RtR- Blue/white: LR+ Blue/black: LR- Green/yellow: RtF+ Gray: RtF- Green/black: LF+ Light Green: LF- radziu 09-27-2007, 12:58 PM Thanks alot MJL, it works. But its not a good signal, the amp is getting a clipped signal and there is too much distortion. Is it because i tapped from the rear speakers and not behind the headunit? Or is my line level converter crap? Cups 09-27-2007, 02:21 PM Thanks alot MJL, it works. But its not a good signal, the amp is getting a clipped signal and there is too much distortion. Is it because i tapped from the rear speakers and not behind the headunit? Or is my line level converter crap? Could it be your amp gains? MJL 09-28-2007, 04:59 AM It is most likely an issue with your amp as Cups said or a problem with your LOC. Others here have tapped into the rear speaker wires without problems. I would try adjusting your amp levels first. radziu 09-29-2007, 01:13 PM I have, i'm gonna try to up the clarity of the signal with better wires, connectors and ground. Let you guys know how my little project is going :) |
