I had a wild hair up my bum this summer and decided to build a serious audio system for my car. Turns out, I was too serious. I haven't taken much interest in this setup as its far too aggressive for a listener who enjoys various genres of music. However, if decibels around street corners is your game - this setup will be sure to impress.
This sale comes with boxes as originally provided.
Rockford Fosgate Power T1 12" dual-2ohm subwoofer
Memphis Car Audio MCD1000 Amp, 1100x1 @ 1ohm
1.75cu/ft Slot-Ported Enclosure with near-match carpeting
Will provide full 4G power cabling and 2 full runs of RCAs if interested
In a simple setup with no enhancements or aggressive tuning, expect pressure levels above 140db. Typical rap in my 2006 Coupe will knock the rearview mirror right off the windshield. I would totally enjoy this system, however I've discovered that improving the "highs" portion of this car is as brutal as pulling teeth. So rather than to waste any more time or money, I've made the basement in my home my audio refuge!
All materials in perfect condition, approximately 4 hours total time used. No damage whatsoever.
Asking 900. Spent over 2000.
Note: The amplifier is mounted to the back of the box which for approximate measurements is as wide as the two escape handles in the trunk minus 2-3 inches. The fit is actually rather nice.
