The new Odys have a sunshield that rolls down to the bottom of the glass. I want that! It's not legal to tint the front door windows here & when traveling on I5 the sun is beating on him both ways.... well, on the way there it's on him until noon or so, then it's on my side. On the way home I get it for a while, then closer to home he has to put the visor sideways. It would be nicer to just pull up a shade. Then the bod stays cooler too! It's nasty hot on that drive!!

Do any of you know if they make one for the Accord sedans too???

The Ody's thing is attached. Maybe I can find the measurements & see how close it is to my window....

This one just has an black bar at the bottom. It gives the appearance of rolling into the door.

I know what your talking about, a lot of the high end European cars have that... Plus a power rear shade...

Well, I don't think this one's power, but the noises could happen.....I still want it though! It may get installed surrounded by soft foam stuff. It's an accessory for the Odys & I think it said around 300 for a set of 2. I know, spoiled. It looks almost universal though.... So now the determining factor will be holes.... NO HOLES WILL BE PUT IN MY DOOR!!!!

gawd, spare parts!!!! :lmao: i remember when we first moved into our own place. his dad helped move a couple of things and he INSISTED on removing the doors from the entertainment center. he put the llittle pieces in his pocket. by the time we went 30 miles, he couldn't find all of the pieces, but had somehow gained other ones??????

exactly why i keep my husband and his dad AWAY from anything requiring assembly!!!! the computer desk was a huge fisco until banned him from the room and only called him in when i needed him to hold something up! and bedroom furniture? forget it. sent him grocery shopping while i assembled that! i let him and his dad re-assemble the futon once and for months he couldn't figure out why the thing kept falling down..... :rolleyes: but i wasn't allowed to try to fix it because he swore up and down it was right and something was just wrong with the futon!

apparently you can even make clothes out of duct tape! :yes:

He's not too keen on the shade.....we'll have to check them out in person first. The 2nd row ones the Odys come with are incorporated in the door. Maybe we can check out those sizes & how-tos. I'm not giving up yet!
