I am a tire freak and I saw a fairly new tire, made by Falken. http://falkentire.com/main.htm I saw it in the 205/60/16 size but also in the 205/65/16, which means it's a little bit taller. I have been told a taller tire helps on gas mileage but some say it does not. What do you think, thanks.:D

i guess you could look at it a couple ways, depends on what type of driving you do. and i have nothing to back this up so its just my .02. larger in the city is bad because it takes more to get rolling. larger (to a point) on highway is better because it in effect is like having a higher gear- you go the same speed with less engine revs. in this case the 65 radius is 1cm taller. it would be interesting to know though!

Then maybe I shouldn't. I am not a fast driver at all. I do about 3 m.p.h. over the speed limit, at maximum. But when I need to get going, I want to have the most pick up. My grandfather use to drive semi-trucks and was always telling me about the taller tire trick, for a little extra gas mileage. I want to go wider but I am just going to give up some gas mileage, with it. I guess I will stick with stock size.
