Hey everyone - first post here -

I just got an 08 exl on thursday and so far I absolutely love it.

This is the first time I have had a car with a powered seat. Has anyone else noticed when you punch the gas the seat tends to rock back - almost like there is a loose bolt holding the seat down? The reverse action happens if I slow down quickly.

Any thoughts??

That does not sound right. Mine is solid at any speed, stop or start. Take that baby in and get it fixed.

Hmmmm, I don't think the seat rock is a normal thing. I'd take it to the dealer and have it checked out. Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forums!:thmsup:

I must say the front seats in my 2.5 week old EX-L are as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. I love these seats.

Yes, do that, and quickly. That could be a serious safety issue if the seat mounting is broken or a fastener left off.

I would think the dealer owes you a loaner if they have to order a part. Personally I would never drive a car with a loose seat mount.
