Of course, like everyone else I'm looking for a set of 17" OEM alloy Acura TL rims. Preferably with tires would be nice. I've checked ebay, nothing as of right now. I've checked all the craigslist close to me. I've even searched a couple Acura forums. Anyone have anywhere else to get these rims? I'm hoping for under $600 I've seen some people that have gotten them for that cheap.

Your just going to have to be patient on that one, especially if you are looking to get the wheels at a good price. It's too late now, but I just saw a set of '06 TL wheels go on eBay for just $275 with ~$100 for shipping, talk about a good deal. I meant to put submit a bid, but forgot last night. It would've been an even better deal for me because I could've picked them up locally...oh well, I guess I let that one get away.

Another possibility is to check with your local Acura dealer. I was chatting with my Honda parts man (who used to work at an Acura dealer) and he said they often had new car take offs. Wish I would have thought of that when I was shopping for wheels. It took me about 2 months (including a few lost bids) to get a set of wheels off Ebay.

Too bad you don't live out here is So. Cal. There's someone in Irvine on Craigslist selling a set for only $200 (http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/pts/449205299.html).

damn only $200 i could handle that even if they need new tires. Anyone know how much shipping would be from So. Cal. to Minnesota? :)

Probably around $100 via FedEx/UPS. That seems to be about the going rate from what I've seen.

thats not bad at all. I've been contemplating if I want to buy new 18's or just get some cheap TL rim's since the roads I drive on are pretty shitty.

Forget the TL rims. I found these on e-bay I think they would look good with my car. It is desert mist but I have the windows tinted to 35% so the black would look good.

What size tire would I need and what do you recommend?

Since they're 7.5" wide, maybe a 245/40-18?

Ok, I am really interested in those black 18's. Here's the thing I don't think I would want to use them during the winter, duh. So should I buy summer tires? or should I still buy all season tires? Is that the correct size? 245/40/R18? I plan on using the stock wheels/tires for winter or maybe even buying some cheapo winter tires. I'll take any info/criticism/advice at this point. Thanks.

Not a fan of the mutiple hole rims (to accomodate different lugnut dimensions), makes for a cheapo look IMO, but to each his own.

yeah I keep going back and forth, I think I'm opting for the TL rims now since I don't want to buy $800 worth of tires on top of the rims. I can't decide!

You won't need summer-only tires. A good high herformance / ultra high performance all-season tire such as the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Potenza+RE960AS+Pole+Position), the Yokohama AVID V4s (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=AVID+V4S), or Pirelli P Zero Nero (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Pirelli&tireModel=PZero+Nero+M%26S) is more than enough.

Summer-only tires are a waste (expensive with short tread life) for a daily driver like the Accord. Unless you have a sports car (i.e. Porsche, Corvette, etc.) or plan to take your car to the track, all-seasons are more than enough.

Is that the correct size? 245/40/R18?

Yes.

well now I'm back to the TL rims, I don't have the money right now to buy rims and tires brand new. Been searching for a couple hours for some TL rims I found a couple.

I've sent 2 e-mails to the one craigslist for $200, if anyone sees a deal like that anywhere else please let me know! I appreciate it. :)

i too am looking for rims, been looking around for replicas of the lexus GS wheels. i really like those wheels and think they'd look good on the accord, though actually getting the lexus ones might look silly because of the lexus center cap logo. therefore anything that looks similar i'll take. help would be great, if anyone recalls any that look similar

Would those fit a 2004 accord sedan?

Great deal but I don't think I want chrome on a desert mist car. Just my preference and I'm trying to find some TL rims with some tire life left. Great deal for someone else.
