For poops and giggles, I took this assessment to see what models would appeal to me.

http://www.myproductadvisor.com

I rated everything that was important on a sliding scale (for me: quality, performance, durability, and features). I left the brand slections on neutral so it would consider all makes and models. The assessment is very detailed and took about 20 minutes to complete.

Guess what my top 5 reccommendations were?

2008 Honda Accord Sedan EX-L 5-Spd MT w/ Navigation
2008 Acura TSX 6-Spd MT w/ Navigation System
2008 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L 5-Spd MT w/ Navigation System
2008 Hyundai Sonata Limited V6
2008 Honda Civic Coupe EX-L 5-Spd MT w/ Navigation System

:paranoid:

few:

2007 Honda Accord Hybrid 5-Spd AT w/ Nav System
2008 Acura TL 5-Spd AT
2008 Honda Civic Si 6-Spd MT w/ Nav
2008 Toyota Camry SE 5-Spd MT
2007 Hyundai Azera Limited XM
2008 Nissan Maxima SL
2008 Mercury Milan I4 Premier
2008 Infiniti G35 Sedan Sport 6MT
2008 Pontiac G6 Sedan GXP
2008 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL

I want a vehicle that rates high in everything across the board. Hondas came out on top. Not surprising, when I downgraded my preferences for reliability and features, the German brands popped up. When I set transmission to AT or manual, more US brands came up.
