has anyone used the 15" steel wheels from an LX/VP on a 6MT V6 accord? the 6MT, both coupe and sedan have slightly larger front brakes that all the other versions.... so, has anyone done it and know it works for sure? I ask because I have a set of wheels with snows in storage, and would like to know if someone can tell me for sure that they would be too small so I don't have to bother testing them.
so... anyone?

I don't think it would work honestly (never tried though). I run 16" steel snows in the winter, and there is VERY little clearance between the caliper and the rim. I don't know the exact amount, but I can't see a 15" rim fitting.

I know I couldn't even run 16s on the TL......so I would guess you are SOL on the Accord.

Would the 15s from a 7th gen LX work? How about the 16s from a 4cyl EX? I'm looking for a set of wheels to mount snow tires on right now, I wasn't sure if the brakes were any larger based on trim or engine.

I know I couldn't even run 16s on the TL......
Is it because it was TL-S and/or has bigger brake calipers?

I asked one of the master techs at our dealer about this a couple of years ago. All of the Honda V6 MT sedan versions (like the Accord and the TL) have the larger calipers and need 16" wheels. All of the other Accords have the standard calipers front/rear, and can accept the 15" wheels from the LX.

damn. I didn't think they would fit, just hoped maybe someone had done it and would say it worked..... oh well, guess I'll still sell them to my sister....
