Nice...I've been so busy that I haven't had a lot of time for decorations...I sure hope I get some trick or treaters here...as I have candy :)

It's not even dark yet & we've already had trick-or-treaters!! Being a school night & no time change yet has really made a difference!!

Having the kids here...we did more decorations than usual.... some are mine, some theirs. I'll share when it's darker.

How fun!

We spent our first Halloween here in NOLA on the porch of my godmothers house uptown.

It was a fun time, though not as many people as we wanted came by. We were probably one of the few homes to actually decorate!

We went through one HUGE Costco bag of candy bars & started another, plus half of a BIG bag of "Ike & Mikes" & "Hot Tamales". It was about 3/4 of our past max.

It's over now & the pumpkins are now in the trash so no one will smash them in the street.

we had a ton of candy because our neighborhood has a ton of kids. yet hardly any came down our street..... :dunno: so now we still have a ton of candy. i hate how there isn't a set trick or treat time in our area. we ended up turning off all of our decorations and lights a little after 7pm when melia went to bed. any sign of life, and we'd be at risk of someone ringing the doorbell and waking her up. she did trick or treat to a couple of neighbor's homes. she tried to go back to one of them while we were outside waiting for other trick or treaters too! :lmao: she had fun, but she was also pretty cranky from lack of sleep!

we also have a trick or treat at my work for the kids. melia "stole" one of my coworker's pumpkins filled with candy and tried to take it upstairs. she proceeded to throw a tantrum when we stopped her... she doesn't quite understand halloween yet at her age!

we have to load the pictures yet though......

Done for another year. This morning I DE-Halloweenified the house inside & out. Then moved the boys' candy to large ziplocks. It will serve as their snacks/deserts for a while.

My brother & family used to put on a play/production every Halloween for their neighborhood in their yard. It's been pretty nice. Now his kids are older & aren't as interested.

I'll leave the Fall things up through Thanksgiving.

Now off to wash my car!!! This will be my first chance to get those bugs off from the trip!!!

that's the first modern steelers cheerleader that i have ever seen.

kind of funny to say she's going as a steeler's cheerleader when they don't actually exist.

we couldn't find steelers shoes in her size though... other than that, she had the turtleneck, the cheerleader dress, socks, bag, and pom poms.
