How do you prefer your coffee???

If you only drink Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso etc post that in replys..
Myself I like them all as long as it has coffee in it!!

I have an Espresso/Cappuccino machine as well..

I like mine with Khaluha or Baileys also(We make our own)

i dont touch the stuff. there are Dunkin Donuts sprining up like weeds around here and as soon as the new ones open, they are packed every day. i dont know what they are putting in their coffe, but i refuse to become a coffee junkie like the rest.
...and if one more jackass cuts me off to get into the drive thru line, i'm trading the Accord for a 70 Buick and having some fun....

I was always told coffee would stunt my growth.....:eek: with grandmas at 4'7" & 4'10" I didn't want to take any chances... so I never started the coffee thing!

Hey! That's been our plan for years!!! I almost kept my '77 Cutlass just to teach a few lessons..... :yes: I changed my mind since the car was in near mint condition! I just couldn't bear to bang it up.....

me, i'm a cappacino girl!!! during the week i occassionally buy ones at the coffee place in the lobby where i work. on the weekends, i grind up beans and make 'em at home! :D

Sun Java is much better than Microsoft Active X. :D

I thought coffee stunts your growth too but I found out this is a lie. After I started drinking coffee I was growing 3-4 inches a year :) And that's up, not sideways :blah:

coffees from germany are my favorite. they are ground much finer than american coffees and have a great aftertaste.

Anybody drink Peet's Coffee? I've heard from a LOT of people that they're the best, even better than Starbucks, so I wanted to give it a try.

nah, i drink "cool beans"! which is also better than starbucks! :D

I buy my coffee from a local roaster here in Cincy, The key is freshness. Whole beans stay fresh for about 2 weeks. Ground beans stay fresh for about 24-36 hrs:eek:
It's really cool going into the shop while their roasting...
Next time I'll take a picture to post...
Oh and if you buy beans green(unroasted) they stay fresh about 6 months..

I like eight o'clock whole bean coffee. It comes in a big red bag. I always get a good consistant flavor. I think A & P used to sell it exclusively; anyone remember them?

Yep, remember A & P from living in Indy for 15 years,
8'oclock is still sold in Biggs here in Cincy. Kroger stores I believe also sells, I think a lot of the A & P's were bought out by Krogers.

We just got a Starbucks and they opened their second store on Friday. My rule of thumb -- anything that has chocolate as part of the drink - starbucks - anything else - the local coffee shop.

I generally buy it made in the morning. I alternate shops: Dunkin Donuts, Panera, Starbucks, Borders, etc. I also make it at home - again, using alternating brands.

i think dd in western pa is in danger of being run out by krispy kreme (yick!!! not a fan!)

i'm sitting here drinking an amaretto cappacino right now! yum!! :)

I do like Dunkin' Donuts over Krispy Kreme though.... We were disappointed that they no longer have the "bismarks" though. Maple icing with pudding inside. We don't have them here & were looking so forward to the FL trip's visit to DD. Then had to settle for boston creme. The chocolate icing isn't bad, but the maple is richer. My brain works that if you're gonna be BAD, make truely worth your while! The richer the better!!

Here's the Roaster in action today.......

We usually buy Community coffee......dark, stout, and bueno.

If you check out their site and look at coffee list you will see the details. My favorites are Celebes, Kenyan AA , Black and tan and this time of year Winter blend. We also do some flavored Highlander Grog, Holiday blend and others. All of the coffees I have tried from them have been wonderful. I found another roaster closer to my house but was not impressed by his roast.
Maybe it's the beans he uses?

darn!!! they jacked up the price of my cappaino from $3.00 to $3.40!!!! time to cut WAY back. it just ain't in the budget any more! :bawling:
