'97 CD player add on

Hello, first time poster here.

I am trying to find an Add on CD player for the '97. I found this one, but am not sure if it is backward compatible with the '97. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Do you have a 14 pin connector plug in the back? It may work
and for less than 25 bucks what can you lose??

I think i'll wait it out and maybe just get an entire unit. I do like my current tape player/radio combo because the radio reception is the best i've had in a car so i'm not in a big hurry to swap it out. The addon listed on ebay seems like a good deal, but i'm hesitant to buy it without knowing for sure that it is compatible.
