Hi 'y'all, My mom's Ody is finally getting retired!!!! She want's me to find her a 2000-? Civic sedan AT for 8000-11000. Anyone here in the Bay Area know of one for sale????

Yeah, I did...there's really not many, only 2 fit the needs. I MAY have found one! I'm working on the deal! It's the same color as my Accord!!:D

I've been looking out here, so I don't have to drive as far to see 'em. I'm hoping to do this all on Monday & send it home on Tuesday.....so the closer the better!

That first one is an excellent deal.... I found 2 in Lafayette that are '02's for 12.5, one with only 18K!! I just talked to the owner & I think we'll be looking tomorrow. The other has 35K..... but is an EX.

We may have found one. It was in Concord! It's a silver '02 LX. It's only got 18K on it & looks nearly flawless. There's a small rear bumper scratch They've put an aftermarket CD player in it, but the alarm still works. Since it's through the radio, we're hoping the original one is stuffed behind it. My prince has seen that done often. So right now it depends ons the financing. He has a balance owed, so if we can pay it off by credit card today & he can get the title, we're on schedule! Then my sister can drive it to NV tomorow!

It's a sedan, just like she wanted. There's a couple more if this one doesn't work out. One is more car than she needs....it's an EX. Her husband will just fiddle with stuff & break it.....moonroof, etc. In fact for some unknown reason the van's motors to squirt the washer fluid are gone! I have no clue why!

They can't have a coupe, they're friends are too old toi climb in the back....;) Has to be AT & sedan.....

hope you're able to get this one! i loved my old civic! don't know if i could go back to one now, but i loved it while i had it and sometimes still miss it's small size! ;)

It's probably just a sibbling thing.

All she does is eat, talk & sit..... or all 3 at the same time! I haven't been around her this long for years & now I remember why! It's going to be another long week!

If I could hurry up the Civic thing, I sure would!!! iI just don't have 12K sitting in the checking doing nothing..... if I did, boy, I'd be rushing over & slapping it down on the Civic, grabbing the keys..... she'd be on her way tomorrow as planned!

Meanwhile...... no Pilates, no bike rides, no walks, nothing..... just watching the groceries disappear, getting ear aches & sore buns.... I do drive her crazy too though! I keep moving around. I just can't sit still. She has to relocate from a chair to a couch & back..... she makes a grumpy sound when she moves. I know she's annoyed....makes my day! It's the simple things!;)

She sat on her butt this morning while I scrubbed both bathrooms, vacuumed, dusted, windexed, & did laundry! She did make a phone call & invited someone over. I heard her tell him that I was cleaning. I can't change her. I'm just trying with all my might to go with the flow a little longer!!

We had a few clouds this morning.....now it's blue sky & sunshine, then there's a midnight shower expected.....

I assume you meant the clouds....I associate clouds with FL!!:D

I didn't dance till I fell down....but I did actually do a happy dance!:D I stripped the bed, put the flannel sheets on for any Winter guests.....

Unfortunately there was a message on our answering machine from one of his sisters...... I'm so not ready for more house guests yet.... but she'll be here tomorrow..... another blob, she's got health problems...:bawling:

Update......

the car has been delivered & she loves it! I did GOOD again!! She spent the evening it arrived showing it off to friends & family! I was happy that the owner's manual was still in it. She got the best of both worlds, a Honda certified used car with the 100K warranty on the drive train & the price & no sales tax of a private seller! I'm sure she'll love it. We went with an '02 instead of an '01 because they changed the engine from a 1.6 to a 1.7, she has lots of mountains & heat to contend with. The thought is that maybe she'll notice less drag with the A/C in use.

Then yesterday his sister arrived. This visit has gone pretty well. She'll be going to church with us today. She met our youngest daughter's family last night. It was fun to show off the grandsons! This evening we'll be drving her back to Stockton, she flies home to PA tomorrow.

I really do enjoy guests, just my lazy whiny sister was too much for too long!
