Washed the cars and got a new set of rubber

I finally got around to washing the 2 cars today. I drive the accord and the wife and kids get around in the pilot. I also got a new set of Falken ZE-912's from discounttiredirect last week for $215 shipped (unbelievable price IMO) for the set which I got put on today as you can see in the last picture.

Wheels and tires are the most important. A slighty dirty car with clean wheels and tires still looks clean to me. If I dont have time to wash the car, Ill just dry wipe the rims and tires and then shine the tires and I should be good for another week.

Regarding the Falkens, you are exactly right. I wasnt even in the market for tires since the Michelins still had some life in them, but who could pass up the deal they were offering!!

I definately does. I'm sure it will rain on Monday on my way to work, so I probably wont get to enjoy it for too long. Since the Accrod is fairly new to me (2 months) I try and wash it atleast every other weekend.

You sound like my neighbors. Whenever I am washing the cars they always remind me that a clean car brings rain. And here in TX, they are ALWAYS right. And if there isnt rain, there is always dust and dirt from road construction.
