Metra Turbo 2 Owners !!!

Which brackets did u use for the install? I am installing mine tomorrow and I have read the HU will be recessed when completed. Is this true? I have the alpine 9887 that has a fold down face and I am thinking it will interfer with its operation. Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I just want to do this right the first time thanks.

I use the other lower kit and use the supplied black plastic brackets. The 9887 fits perfectly. Solid and easy to remove. I would guess they'd supply the same brackets with the turbo 2 kit.

My HU detaches via motorized mechanism. It has no trouble clearing the recess.

Let me know if you have any questions on install. I'm sure you'll get it, it's pretty straightforward.
