Well I bought the 08 LXP last Sunday and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I got mine for 300 over invoice:D At first, I was going to buy an 07 since my local dealer was offering some pretty good incentives, but after driving the 08, I was sold on it. The 08 just looks so much better and feels so much more roomier/bigger. Things I like about it are:

-The engine, transmission, and assembly is from Japan.
-The exterior styling makes it look more like a luxury car (similar to the Acura TSX or RL front end)
-Interior is ROOMY! the styling looks better; especially the gauges.
-Smooth ride, handles very well in turns and corners.
-Has a timing chain. Took me 7 hrs to change the timing belt on my other Honda. Now I don't have to worry about this one:thmsup:
-NEW CAR SMELL!!!

I have only seen three 08's in my area so far. I also catch a lot of drivers checking out my car (especially Camry owners and Civic owners).

Overall, I pretty satisfied with my purchase.

Welcome. What car did this replace? Got to get some history on you here.

The Accord replaced 2 vehicles. The first is a 2006 4runner 4wd. I recently moved and now have to commute to work. The 4runner isn't practical on gas, so I sold it and bought the Accord. The second vehicle, a 96 Integra, was a spare. Between my wife and I, we have no need for three cars, so the Integra was also sold.

You will be pleased with the new MPG of the Accord. I went from a 2000 Jeep Cherokee (16 MPG) and am now getting 26+ MPG with my '06 Accord.

The EPA did change the formula it uses to rate cars so it only appears that '08s do not get as good of mileage than the '07s.

I too am trading in my 4Runner and getting an Accord. Your right, its not too good on the gas mileage. That is a really nice looking car you have there.
