hey guys, when do you think i should have my tires rotated?? keep in mind i have been peeling quite a bit of tire while learning how to drive!!! :D

At anywhere from 5000 to 7500 miles. Just be sure whichever interval you choose that you stick to that number of miles for the life of that set of tires.

i was just thinking i should probably go ahead and get it done when i schedule my oil change... i'm at about 5400 right now! they sent me coupons for both the oil change and tire rotation....

I am rotating mine every 7500 miles. In which direction do you plan on having them rotated? I rotate the front tires straight to the back & cross the rear tires as I bring them forward.

i have plenty of time to figure that one out!! the next evening appointment they had available was the 19th! and it's at 7pm, so looks like i'll be doing some shopping or something in betwen work and there! :D

remind me to remind them to NOT wash my car after the service!!!!

I rotate mine when there is between 1/32-2/32 difference between fronts and rears.. Time/Mileage interval varies due to tire wear differences between a new tire and one thats getting close to the last 6/32 of tread..
You just have to have a gauge and check once a month and that also may save you if you have an alignment issue or tire problem if caught early.

You can find one at most auto parts stores.. I know Napa, Carquest and Parts Plus group have or can get..

It's a CAMEL # 40-395 less than 5 bucks..

Like I1, we do it more "as needed" than actual mileage/time.
