Just had to show off my 'car family'. 03 EX in graphite pearly, 08 EX in polished metal metallic. Got the 08 for the wife as an early christmas present. I inherited the 03, I can't wait to mod the heck out of it after I buff out the 900 scratches she put on it! I spent an hour and a half on the passenger side saturday and go 90% of it looking showroom good!

Nice addition to the family. I see you don't like to change up the colors much :)

I see a candidate for being the guy who tells us what parts between the 7th and 8th gen are swappable :naughty:.

Both times, we wanted the blue, and they didn't have it :( Not being patient people, we went with the gray, which we both love. I might be a bit colorblind, I swear the 03 looks more blue than gray to me.

BTW...welcome to the forum. I see you only have two posts and I didn't welcome you.

You will enjoy your time here...just be careful, as you can see from many people who have 1k or more posts...this place is addicting....

What did people do in the old days when the internet didn't exist? :)

yeah, I already want to yank out the shifter and stick it in my 03. Also, has anyone else seen the sunglass holder in the pilot? It has a mirror on it and a stop so you can partially open it and it shows you the backseat. Super handy feature if you have unruly kids/pets/friends back there. I need to see if I can order one and stick it in both of my accords.

Nice Accords you've got there. Welcome to the forum. Looking at that picture, I definitely prefer the front end of the 08. I just wish I felt the same towards the rear.

Here's a short list of things I plan to do to the 03.

-Illuminated steering wheel audio controls(already ordered)
-Swap shift lever to an 08 (as soon as the wife gets home, I'm testing out whether this will work) or 07
-hybrid mirrors
-TL switchblade key(already ordered)
-OEM side, front, rear skirts( hated all the AM stuff I saw except mugen)
-fog lights
-exterior temp sensor
-auto dimming mirror w compass
-homelink console
-LED's in center console and armrest console(wired to only light if the cover is open)
-replace the EX logo I just realized has fallen off somewhere!(already ordered)
-LED's in footwells tied to door lights
-matching brushed metal door sills with illuminated accord logo
-black pinstripe (the 08 has this, on gray, it looks amazing
-replace all speakers
-add ipod capability
-convert sunroof to one touch open/close

WOW, that's a lot of stuff for only 1 day of thinking...

Beautiful Cars! Are you going to put a spoiler on the '08?

BBS

Welcome to the board, snafu. You'll like it here. Just don't take what's intended as "constructive" criticism (if offered to you) personally. Personalize your ride to please you. DA'ers will provide sound advice when asked, and you'll get the assistance you need. Again, welcome!

I wanted to get the spoiler, but the wife doesn't really care, and since it's her daily driver...I am adding homelink for her though, for some reason seeing the marks they leave in visors really bugs the hell out of me.

You know what's weird? You have a 7th gen., the first year (2003), and an 8th gen., the first year (2008). SWEET! :) lol

Yeah, I realized that myself a few days ago. What's more, the wife used to have a 94 accord(1st year 5th gen!). Who says don't buy the first year of a new model, HA! The 03 has been great and i expect the same from the 08.

To me, the '08 is more classy, and the '03 is more sporty. SEDAN WISE.
Coupes... The '08 is outright sporty, and '03 is a little less "HARDCORE". :lmao:

Louisville is a nice town, lots to do there. It's a bit more laid back here in Lexington, the place basically shuts down at 10pm.

I agree, I think the 03 is sportier than the 08, even more so if you put the front spoiler on both cars.

But imo the '08 just looks even MORE mature.
The new coupe, is just ONE FINE CAR.
