To make a long story short, i'm in the process of a limited resources repaint of my black spoiler. it's sanded down to the plastic and i did a nice job scratching it in the process. so far i have a couple coats of plastic bonding primer and about 4 coats of gloss black acrylic spraypaint on that and some of the scratches are still showing. i'm planning on a few more coats after it dries a couple days and top it with some clearcoat. i'd like to know from someone who's painted plastic body parts if it's a good idea to do any wet sanding or polishing in the process or anything else to help smooth it out to match the rest of the car without making it look repulsive. or just spray and pray. and no, im not going to just plug the holes in the trunk and throw the spoiler out, but thanks
