Auto Tranny fluid change 99 v6

i read this, but it is for the I4. there is a post that says v6 is the same, but the manual says to fill through another bolt... do i refill through another bolt hole or throught he dipstick hole also?

i did fill it through the dipstick hole, but it took forever for the fluid to go through the small tube... i discovered that if you microwave the fluid, it flows faster :)

i guess that works but there is a big bolt on top of the tranny that says ATF on it.

Yeah....if you look up towards the firewall you will see the ATF bolt. The V6 has that bolt to fill with. Glad you got it done...but ya did it the hard way :)

you've gotta be joking me. the dealership even told me to do it the way i did...

just for kicks im going out and find that bolt RIGHT NOW!.
