Hello, have a bet on this one. My friend who has a 07 Accord Sedan with auto trans has stated that ALL 2007 Honda Accord Sedans with 6 cylinders both auto and 6 spd manual trans have VCM. I say no that only the autotrans have VCM. Please advise as I think he owes me a drink. Thank you. P.S. Thanks for the video site on changing out the cabin air filter. It was great. I thought $60.00 for the dealer to do it was out of line. I guess they thought it would be to complicated to add it to the owners manual. Shades of the Detroit BIG 3.

None of the 2007's have VCM. The 2008 V6 Autos come with it.

Thats what I thought. But he bought the manual for his car and it states that his 07 Accord Sedan 6 Cylinder AUTO TRANS has VCM. I too believe that the 2008 6 Cylinder Accords were first to have VCM. Who knows, I am glad my car does not have that BS. I don't think the mpg is any better with it. Also, I remember the old GM 4-6-8 setup. What disaster!

Is he perhaps mixing VCM with VSA?

possibly... I have an 07 sedan v6 auto, and I have never seen the acronym VCM, but I didn't go over the manual with a magnifying glass either...

According to the 07 Accord brochure, the only 07 Accords that feature VCM are the Accord V6 Hybrids.

True Statement. All 2007 V6s have VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist), but only the Hybrid has the VCM.
