My last pics posted here didnt go over so well, so im interested to see how this goes.

Lowered on D2 Coilovers, 1 finger in the front, about half a finger in the back. Im waiting for the TL-S sways to come in and my camber kit and then im going to get everything aligned.

Wow that looks great! You'll definitely need the camber kit now :D. The TL-S sway bars are going to make a nice improvement, but be warned the front one is kind of a pain to install. In the end it will be worth it. Now my car corners the way it should have from the factory.

Thanks bro, I also have the chassis braces from Summit Racing. So far those, the tires, and being lowered has made a vast improvement over stock handling. I cant wait to get the sways and camber kit on.

I think I've said this before, but in case i haven't.... good looking car. Even better now with the drop.

But I've never really cared much for the chrome window trim.

Is the front grille chromed out now too, or did you just paint it? It's different.....

Thanks man, and the grills been chromed out for a while acutally. I didnt paint it, I bought it aftermarket like that.

I think its looking pretty good. I never really liked your rear window spoiler and moon roof deflector, I think it breaks up the roof line on your side shots, but other than than everything looks cool.

You should also try taking off your front plate when you take pictures. I keep mine off all the time even tho its illegal but I think it looks so much better without it.

MJL, im actually going to repaint my bumper and lip and leave the license plate off, im sick of looking at it, and will also leave it off all the time as you do.

I don't see any insults at all, what forum are you reading?

I actually like the rear window spoiler a lot. It's unique and changes the flow of the rear of the car a lot, but not in a bad way at all. I'm sort of neutral about the moon-roof deflector. I've toyed with the idea of getting the deflectors for the windows and moon roof, but I think they would look worse on my car.

Car looks great with the drop btw. Definately one of my favorite 7th gen sedans.

The forum I'm reading is about Mike finally lowering his car. After the compliments on how it looks one person writes how they never liked the chrome on his car and then right after another person puts how they never liked the wind deflector. Me personally would take those as insults seeing how it has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Maybe some dont consider that insulting but it's definitely not a compliment.

I never said that I didn't like the chrome window trim. I said that I never really cared much for them. In other words, I don't like them but I also don't hate them..... I just don't care for them. I guess you can say I'm neutral on them.

To put this another way, if I said that I never really cared much for getting good grades in school, does that mean that I don't like to get good grades? No. It just means that I don't care if I do get good grades or if I get bad grades. I'm neutral on the matter.

I wouldn't take what was said as insults. I see it as constructive criticism, just as if a teacher was grading your essay and said that it contained poor grammar, word usage, etc. Would you consider what the teacher said to be insults?

We're all just trying to give our feedback. And feedback comes in both positive and negative flavours. It's possible that Mike won't see something that we do. Not everyone's going to see Mike's car through rose-colored glasses.

I here ya and respect everything you said, I've always lived by " If you don't have anything nice to say than dont say it all." I'm just saying if I take the time to show you guys something that I just did to my car all I wouldn't enjoy hearing constructive criticism about something that has nothing to do with what I was showcasing. Now if he was posting a thread about the pillars or the wind deflector in particular then I can understand but those two things have nothing to do with what he wanted to share with you guys. I dont want to seem like a prick or anything I would just like to you to see my point of view on the matter.

Compared to my last pics posting on here, this is a walk in the park.

I dont really care if theyre insults or not, but Abailey4 does have a point, im more interested in the comment on the drop rather than the other stuff.

Thanks for the compliments so far though.

I guess to be safe from now on, whenever someone posts pics of their car mod (or car) they should also post comment guidelines, something along the lines of:

a) Only talk about the topic at hand
b) Only positive feedback
c) Keep other comments to yourself

I guess it depends on what forum you're on. Usually I dont preach so much because I've never had to on gen7accord. It just took me by surprise. My MO is being the nice guy so I guess I expect too much from others to be the same way. That's why my first post other than my profile on here was offering up to run free Carfax's for everybody. But back on topic, nice drop once again Mike.

I guess I should have commented "Love the spoilers! Keep it up, lets see how much more plastic you can get on that car!! Awesome!" Then I wouldn't have been attacked for my opinion on a car forum.

Naw buddy, your too high on your horse to hear anything I'm sayin. So I guess it's too hard for you just to not say anything if you cant just simply compliment somebody without saying anything negative. Mr. King of the intarweb forums needs to spread his negative words of wisdom to the world for what reason nobody knows. I stand up for the guy because he's trying to show everybody something that he just spent a lot of money on without hearing negative comments about something totally off topic and I get attacked for it. Nobody attacked you opinion until you just so happened to post what you said right after my initial comment. So obviously you had to see what was posted before yours, so it seems as though you just wanted to be apart of the discussion.

I agree 1000%. I also agree that all the negative crap is rude and pointless. "I don't like this, I don't like that" WHO CARES????? If you are so warped that you must be negative there are nicer ways to say you don't care for something. Some did do that but others were just crude in their comments.

There are some on here that are pure negativity and it gets pretty old when the majority of others are trying to be nice and even assist others.

For the record I think the guys car looks great dropped.

Looks good to me. Could you have adjusted the D2's to have a 1 finger gap in the rear, and a half finger gap in the front? In other words, how much adjustability (settings) do you have?

Welcome to intarweb forums.

Like joe said, in many different ways, if you post a pic, people will comment. This isn't a forum for self-esteem building, or patting each other on the back, it's a car forum filled with many different opinions. The overwhelming majority of the time these opinions are presented respectfully and not rudely. If someone posts a pic, people will respond both positively and negatively. This happens in every accord forum I've been on (g7a, v6performance.net, driveaccord). If you take it personally every time someone posts a suggestion, or something they don't like about your car after you post a pic, then you should not be on ANY forum. Bluek24a4 can obviously deal with it, just like pretty much everyone else here. But again, the idea that people are nicer on v6performance.net or g7a is completely and totally rediculous.

I for one enjoy both positive and negative feedback on stuff. Maybe someone will present their opinion in such a way that you see something differently and maybe make a subsequent change to your car (or whatever) to make it more to your liking than it was before, who knows. Positive feedback is not the only worthwhile type of feedback.

Aside from that, the overwhelming majority of the responses were praising the look of bluek24's car. But of course, with pretty much any car that has has a lot of stuff added to it, not everyone will like everything, and we generally readily and respectfully present our opinions on such things.

oh, no, well, I did, but not in reference to your post, but the picture you quoted (as it shows the fogs). I guess I could have chosen my quote a little bit better, hah. My post was just a random thought.

As far as joe, he can be a dick sometimes I guess, but generally I find that his posts and opinions are pretty reasonable. He states things a little harshly sometimes, but only when antagonized in return does he really get rude or overly aggressive with his posts. It's kind of like you have to sometimes translate and think "well, joerockt posted this, adjust attitude accordingly", if that makes any sense at all. I don't know, I don't have a problem with it, though I suppose I could see how someone might at times.
