Extended Warranty!?!?!?

Hey, a friend of mine is buying a certified pre-owned honda. He was asking about the extended warranty. It is a Zurich? or something like that. He wants to know if Honda offers an extended warranty, or is it something that shouldnt be dealt with altogether?

I say no to those kind of deals, but I wanted to throw this out there for your advise.

Yeah when you buy certified it comes with a 100K mile warranty. That's why certified cars are usually $1500-2000 more than cars that are not certified. That's the only difference between the two. Usually extended warranties that run up to 100K miles cost $1000-1200. So in my eyes as a used car salesman certified isn't worth it.
