I'm looking to sell the rims off my 08 coupe when my rims come in and was wondering what you guys think a set of 18's with tires would fetch.

20% below dealer cost... just to make it attractive.

$120 for the Michelin Pilots on the EX-L V6 Coupe? I haven't found them for less that $225 online and that's straining. The average price is $250.

They would never sell for that much this early because at that price you might as well get some really nice aftermarkets. I would wait til they get a lil older and sell em for under $1,000 like Accordlover said. I can get some sick 19's for $1500!

What would you consider sick 19s? The 19's I'm looking at are running me 2500 and up for just the rims...granted I'm looking at volk, work, iforge...

I would just keep them, because they do cost a lot!

Well that's kinda a broad statement on my part just for the sake of making a point. Put it this way, I'm sure you can find a set of 19's that you think look better than those wheels that cost around $1500 w/ tires. Oh and I work for a dealership so I get discounts through some of the local rim shops, so I have an even greater chance. Also the chain I work for has a Honda store that I could also get discounts through but I'm sure they would still be expensive as all hell.

Got ya. I know what you mean though..I finally got the set of rims I wanted. Work varianza's in black 20 x 8.5 all around. for 3100 with some toyo t1r. only bad thing is I have to wait till mid Jan. But I guess i could've gotten a similar entry level brand for 1800 with tires.

Well i must agree that what the wheels and tires are worth is totally different then what you will get for them. Right now I'm looking at 19 " Konig hotswaps and they are $209 each and then you figure $250 for a a tire that about $1900 delivered for a full set. I think if you put the price around 1200 and put the on craigs list you might get some people with interest.

I've seen them on other forums for $400 + shipping which is way too cheap.

With very good rubber and no damage, I've seem sets on eBay go for $700 or more.

Less than a 1000 with the tires. Bottom line is they are still OEM. If you want to sell them quick price'em at 750. Do an Ebay search to get an idea about what OEM's sell for.

im about to pay 700 for a new set of tires. i'd rather have 18's and new tires for that.

tires on the 18" inch *tires* alone retail for 220-230$ a piece depending on where u look...

scoring a brand new set of these from someone upgrading the , with tires & rims for 800-900$ would be what I'd call a 'steal'.

However, just because they are michelin doesn't mean their usefulness isn't disputable...especially when trying to gain 'stickiness' .

If there's little to no wear on the rubber, then I wouldn't take less than $1,000. That's tires at normal value and wheels for free (give or take). 18s aren't exactly cheap. And the Coupe 18s are gorgeous.

Well I did lug them around since december-march but its all local driving anyways. 500?? You're killing me B!!! lol..
