Hi,
Can I get some help on changing the cabin air filter on a 4D Accord 2001 L4 (F23A4), please?
My after market Repair manual indicates disconnecting the battery to prevent Air bag deployment. Removing glove box. Is this all real?
A Honda filter or dose some one else make a better one?
Thanks,
Bruce

Hay,
Thanks Every one! Filters replaced! What a pain! Why can't it just be remove glove box, open filter door, replace filter...
Any way, filter looked like it never got replaced. I bought a Bosh (Sp) Premiums, came with two filter for $20 at Kregens.
Took me maybe an hour. It got dark during the reassembly part...
Bad news:
I lost a tiny metal clip, thinginy, I stoled one from the fuse door...
Good news:
I dint brake that tiny black wire and I have more air volume...
Again, Thanks all for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear the good report back. It really does appear that the cabin air filters were an afterthought on the 6th generation. They must have had everything pretty much designed and then someone spoke up and asked about the pollen filters.
