hey princess,

has your prince seen any accords with a rain water leak that ends up on the rear passenger footwell area? The passenger front seemed dry to her.

This is my mom's car and she tells me about this today while I'm there, of course it's dark AND pouring outside, so I couldn't look at it. I've got to get it here or to work to really look at it.

I hate rainwater leaks. The car is an outdoor all the time car, that doesn't sit under a tree.

thanks

Is the water dirty or fairly clean?
Moonroof?
What about the door seal - good shape?

Since I havent looked at it in daylight, I'm going by what I've been told.
The water was clean.
The car sat overnight in very heavy rain.
Only the floor was wet in the pass rear. Seats and headliner appeared dry to them. If the sunroof drain was disconnected I'd expect to see either the headliner all wet or the trunk full of water.
I'm wondering if the door drains plugged up and it came through the door panel onto the floor.
Have to see it, hopefully this weekend.

The car is parked on about a 30 degree upward incline.

There's been a few on here.... the thought is, the mirror. I think it has a gasket & maybe on some it's no longer sealing & leaking down inside the door & on the floor. Let us know if you find it!!

I will say that since day one mine has held more water when I wash it on the passenger side. The door is heavier when wet. I've yet to have any come inside though. It's been a little peeve Of mine. It will grow to a really big one, if it comes inside though!!

My 03 is doing this also. It mostly collects in the rear passenger side but sometimes will make it's way to the front as well depending on how I have the car sitting. Only did it with long rainy days. Didn't do it at the car wash. One day when it was raining for some time, I went outside to watch and see if I could find where it was coming in from. I finally discovered a little trickle of water coming over the front door sill beside the front seat. The drain holes on the door are fine and drain properly. My guess is that the inner barrier sheet, a plastic covering just inside the door panel, is either damaged or misaligned. I haven't pulled the panel off yet to determine this yet. Keep wanting to, but just haven't got around to it yet.
