depends where you are at. I highly recommend Middletown Honda, in Orange County NY. Bought 3 hondas from there.

Are you looking for a 2008?

I think the city dealers aren't worth your time. You might want to try openroadhonda in edison, NJ...I think it's about an hour away from GWB area.

I highly recommend Curry Honda in Yorktown Heights, NY. Just jump on the Taconic going North, and it's really not that far from where you are. I agree with the above poster, the city dealers are not worth your time.

If your willing to go to NJ, open road has some of the most competitive prices and a large inventory. Try their online internet price thing, even if you just use it as a tool to get a better deal elsewhere.

Their actual sales service was so so.

i think i found a dealership close to home that has a good price.
i have a question, though. is the availability of the 5spd mt a lot more limited than the 6spd v6? nobody seems to have the 5spd.

I bought my 08 at Babylon Honda off montauk (27a).
they were very helpful for a dealer but I have no experience other than that. never dealt with repair/part departments.

I got mine's from Paragon Honda. I had a very good experience from them compare to all the other dealerships I went too. ( Other which was very pushy )

I would give Open Road Honda a call. Found the prices very competitive. Did a lot of research before buying two new Accords from them!

Back in the day, Honda had suggested labor prices for installation of each accessory on their web site (day/night mirror, spoiler, etc.). I printed the web pages out for the accessories that I wanted and brought my research with me in a manila folder when negotiating. The GM agreed to match the labor prices I printed out from the Honda web site, even if the dealership labor prices were higher for that accessory. The next week or two, I noticed that Honda removed these suggested labor prices from their web site ... I think it was around March 2003, shortly after I bought my car from Open Road.

I hope Honda didn't do that because of me. :paranoid:

I sold the 2003 LX for a 2004 EX-L simply because of the additional side and curtain airbags not available on the 2003. I also bought the 2004 from Open Road, and traded in the 2003. The hit I took was negligible though the car was a year old!

Every holiday season, I ship a box of Florida citrus for everyone in the sales and service departments. This dealership takes care of me.

Try Millenium Honda or PS Honda. I wouldn't recommend paragon as I had a bad experiance buying my Odyssey there in 05. (had to pay MSRP and almost got pushed into buying the wrong trim level) At Millenium I got my Civic at a good price.

paragon honda is where i got my car. i had a really good experience with them, but i think it depends on the salesperson you get. the guy who did my financing, however, was another story. it was this guy named leo and he quoted me 2500 for the extended warranty, which was a joke since i got it for half the price at nardy honda. he also planned out our financing for 60 months without even askin us.

steve lee was my salesperson. he handled everything so all we had to do was get a phone call from him for us to pick up the car and sign some papers. it was really as simple as that.

Got mine at Babylon Honda, 2 cars their. See Phil Harvey, got $2,400 off of MSRP.

Service is very good also. If you don't want the extra's they try to get you, just tell them what you want done and they will do it.

Seem to go out of their way to please you.

I did not like the sales approach at Millenium Honda when we looked at an Accord there.

We had an excellent experience with Ray Price Honda in East Stroudsberg, PA, just into PA from NJ off I-80. I would highly recommend them. I would also highly recommend Morehead Honda in Newburgh, NY, haven't bought from them but their service department is outstanding, I go out of my way to get maintenance done there.

As a retired Car Salesmen and Finance Manager (I am only 25 now), i've went to two dealerships, PS Honda and Paragon Honda. The service I have received at PS Honda was absolutley horrible. I then went to Paragon and the service was spectacular, I ended up buying the coupe and my dad ended up getting the Honda Fit the same time. The salesman from Paragon did everything right in my book.

I would not recommend Paragon Honda. The financing people try and push loads of crap that you don't need. Also they charged my a destination fee on a traded in car??? I don't know if $21,000 OTD for a 2006 Honda Accord V6 EX 6MT w/ HFP kit and Navigation is a good deal. I feel that I could have gotten it cheaper. Had to go through many hoops to get them to register my Certified Pre Owned Warranty. Apparently someone in the back office forgot to send the paperwork to Honda. So when I tried to get the 3rd gear TSB done, the dealership by me said that I don't have a warranty. They also will also try and charge you $2000 for the 7yr 100K mi. Honda Care. The actual cost to the dealership is about $500. So they mark it up by 400% Absolutely absurd.

I would recommend Paragon Honda as well. My sales person Daki Kostic and he was absolutely instrmental in helping me get my car. I would recommend them to anyone.
Really...I haven't ever heard too much in the name of good things about Paragon Honda.

Are you going to make a second post?

My Accord was missing the navigation disc and a few other small things and they ordered everything for me, free of charge. The original owner swapped out the shift knob and pedals and I hated them. So I am getting brand new ones for free. Also I am getting floor mats as well. They are a very busy dealership, but they do take their time to please each and every customer.

Any of you have any experiences at Hillside Honda?

When I went last month, the guy told me Hillside Honda = top 10 honda dealership in the USA in terms of volume. He told me they move ~400 vehicles a month.

During my test drive he was very down to earth and I will probably talk to him if I decide to purchase from HH.

I have heard some nasty stories about Paragon as well, but I knew a friend who is currently working there, bought myself an Accord there, only thing is that the financing manager will try to hustle you. Don't be afraid to walk out the first time if you are financing. They quoted me at +9% while having an immaculate credit history. Lowered to 5.5%.

I went to paragon...

Paragon Honda is really sketchy to me. I just bought my first car there. They tried adding 700 dealer prep fees and tried charging me $2000 more than invoice on the accord. They told me I could get a free spoiler with that price they quoted me(I told them before that I really wanted a lip spoiler). I got it 500 under invoice without that BS prep fee. They also push you really hard in the financing room to get a lo jack and warranties (it took around 3 hours in that room). They told me that they'll charge me 10% interest rate outside..(credit isn't so good). When it came to signing papers, it changed to 14%... I noticed it and asked why it changed. They said its because we didn't take their type of financing plan or whatever(probably with the warranties and crap). So, I just gave up and decided that I'm going to pay the car off in 6 months....

Here's the rant about the scratch on my brand new car RIGHT WHEN I GOT IT.

I would avoid dealers close to Queens area. PS Honda and Huntington Honda is where I got a pretty good experience and thats where I bought my cars. You just have to be very straight forward and dont be afraid to walk out when it feels like they are pushing you. I would avoid Paragon, Hillside, Potamkin and South Shore at all cost.

Huntington Honda, ask for Bruce. I have never met a nicer more respectful car salesman!

Yonkers Honda was very nice when i was looking for a car.

I would also stay away from Paragon, heard Yonkers Honda was pretty good as well since my buddies father used to manage the place awhile back ...

New Rochelle Honda is decent as well as is Tarrytown Honda if you feel like coming over to Westchester ... Just tell them exactly what your looking for and they work with you to the "T" ... I got my '06 Coupe down from 21,900 to 17,500 with free oil changes and thats with my trade in being appraised at 3k with over 160k on it which was also worked out in my favor ... total finance was 14ish ... not bad for a fully loaded v6 coupe with navi and less than 26k mi on it .. .

Update got a seriously good deal for the GF on an '09 EX-L Sedan at Mt. Kisco Honda last weekend... Guys really went above and beyond to make it happen!

I got my 2005 Accord from Millenium Honda and I also got my work van from there aswell (05' Odyssey Touring). They were good, the first salesman wasn't to wise when it came to Accords, but no problems. My 2003 came from Paragon.. ughh..
