RTexasF 01-01-2008, 04:17 PM Good post, thanks. Jake07V6 01-09-2008, 06:31 PM Also AAP oil filter which are made by purolator (confirmed by bitoger via phone call to purolator) are also BOGO. I'm stocking up those filter. Jake07V6 02-02-2008, 05:01 AM SYNPOWER bogo sale extended until March 1st. SatinSilver 02-02-2008, 09:59 AM What kind of price are we looking at? Thanks termigator 02-20-2008, 02:08 PM They're $5.48 a qt. regular price, if you're still wondering. ypsibird 02-20-2008, 03:07 PM That is a good deal and no doubt a good oil as well. However, in my area (Michigan) none of the Advance Autos have much in the way of weight selection beyond 10-30 or 10-40. I would really prefer the recommended 5-20. Maybe I should ask at the desk to see if they can get my preferred oil weight? I know the other weights would work ok, but I'm concerned that I'll give up fuel economy that offsets the savings on the oil. However the tips are appreciated. If they can get my preferred weight I'll post a head up. termigator 02-20-2008, 04:37 PM I've never heard that before. They should carry the most popular weights. Don't domestic vehicles use those weights too? 2006AS 02-23-2008, 05:22 PM I've never heard that before. They should carry the most popular weights. Don't domestic vehicles use those weights too? From what I have seen only Honda and some Fords and Mazdas use the 5W20 grade. I am sure it will become more common in the interest of increased fuel economy. termigator 02-23-2008, 07:22 PM Maybe, but that doesn't do any good for anybody wanting to get in on the BOGO deal going on right now.:thumbsdow krazyfiend 02-24-2008, 04:51 AM nice deal! thanks for pointing this out, grabbed 6 + 6 free yesterday. This will make my Benz happy for two future oil changes. steve20 03-24-2008, 12:53 PM I wouldn't be so sure about that. I bought about 30 qts at the last BOGO-cant wait till I use it all up so I can go back to Pennzoil Platinum. For the first time in it's life the Tahoe used about 1/2 quart in a 5K run. Never used a drop of PP or M1. No more Synpower for me, not even in my lawnmower/snowblower |
