So I'm expecting my ebay bumper to arrive in probably about 2 weeks and tonight I got a little ancy and went to see how easy it would be to get the bumper off. When you are taking off the plastic engine cover there are those 2 self tapping clip screws on either side. HOW DO YOU GET THOSE OFF?! I can't figure it out when I turn the screw on either one it just turns and turns and nothing happens. I'm sure the rest of it will be easy once I get that cover off. Thanks for your help.

You're talking about the plastic screws on either side of the engine cover in front of the radiator, right? Then all you have to do is to unscrew them the pull the tabs out. Also, there are two screws under the wheel well. You should see a little indention at the end of the bumper. Unscrew them and unscrew the bolts at the outer bottom of the bumper and unclip the clips and give it a good tug and the bumper should .be out.

yeah those are the screw/clip thing i screwed and screwed them but they didn't want to come out I wonder if they are just stripped for some reason? I'm getting excited to get my new bumper, the place I ordered it from guarantee a 100% fit and color match.

That's the screw clip thing I'm talking about. I think it's stripped because no matter if I put pressure from the underside, hold down he outer ring it just keeps spinning and doesn't come out so when my bumper gets here I guess I will just have to snap them off and go buy 2 new ones from the dealer :dunno: Not sure how else to get them off without breaking.

You see that lip just inside the outer edge of the clip? Try getting a paperclip and work it in there while turning the screw if you can. Use a fatter Philips head screwdriver if the screw is stripped a little. Be careful if you try to snap it off as it may crack the bumper.
