Fog Light Wire Diagram

I ran into a problem trying to install a new fog light switch this weekend. Orginally i had a ebay fog light kit installed with the b/s switch which didnt fit and i have a lil red button with this annoying light coming into my eyes while im driving. so i decided to order a oem switch from honda thinking it was just going to be a plug and play. But the ebay kit ended up having a smaller connector then used by the OEM kit and that didnt work. I wanted to hard wire the oem switch to the wires from the ebay kit, but there are 2 red's 1 black and 1 yellow. the ebay switch had 5 connectors but from what i can see it only used 4 of them. the OEM switch also has 5 connectors. does anyeone have a wire diagram that shows which wire would connect where? I tried to do it blind, and the result was a lot of burned fuses! :( ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED:notworthy

i just cut off all the connectors and wired them to the headlights - so when the headlights go on - so do the fogs... dont know if you wanna take that route... i got the kit offe bay too - had no diagrams or instructions so i took this route

the problem wasnt to wire them... i wired mine to my turn signal bulb that stays on when u turn the light switch onces <-- dont know what that is called exackly lol.. so that now i have the option of driving them with or w/o headlights which looks sick because i have a yellow 2500k HID kit.

what i need is the wire diagram for the switch.. but thank you neway

I purchased an EBay fog light kit for my 07 sedan. The kit has no instructions.

I have printed out the 07 factory install instructions. Thank you princess.

They are very similar except this. My kit does not appear to have the under dash switch harness.

My fog light harness on the end at the UNDER HOOD FUSE RELAY BOX has the following wires:
- one white (+volts to be connected to 20A fuse, this is the relay white wire that gets connected to factory 20 pin connector)
- one red (I think this is supposed to be the same as blue factory fog light control that gets connected to factory 14 pin connector)
- Control relay with 4 wires (white, red, yellow, black)
- 5 pin connector with 5 wires (yellow, two reds and two blacks)

This differs from the factory install instruction and my car. My car has a vehicle 3 pin connector by the UNDER HOOD FUSE RELAY Box. So there's no way these two would connect. So I obviously have to modify.

Why don'we we accumulate all the diagrams in a special area under Factory Direct ? This way i would be easier to access, i think....

here's the wiring with the brightness controller. It's not separated out.....:dunno:


The search feature makes most of this pretty easy to find. People seem to ignore the factory direct area's instructions & things.... the list is too long, I guess....

I took your advise and searched, found some threads and one guy who it appears as if he bought the same non-oem kit. He posted pictures and his wiring looks identical to mine.

I will ask him for advise.
