I am looking to upgrade my tire and wheel package on my 99 Accord LX, 4 cyl.automatic. I am considering the Potenza G009 in a 205/60/16 size with a set of ICW racing 005s wheels. Does anyone see any negative issues with this combo?

For anyone interested, this tire and wheel size fits perfectly and fills up the fender well nicely. I went with a little different wheel by ICW and also with Goodyear Comfort Treads. These tires are really nice so far and virtually silent.

So far these tires are great. Very quiet and comfortable. To me, they are virtually silent.

They look very nice. I was favoring a silver wheel before I found my used ebay wheels. Who did you buy from?

Thanks for the nice comments. I actually bought the wheels and tires from a Goodyear shop. I saw the wheels trolling around online and luckily the Goodyear guys were able to get them locally. I probably paid a few more dollars each but they gave me great service, which is more important to me than a couple of bucks. The wheels are ICW racing "Odessa", silver with a machined lip. Tires are a 205/60/16, up from a 195/65/15.

I’ve been running the G009’s on my daughters Ford Focus for about 18 months. Great handling tire and even better in the wet! I'd try running about 35 – 37Psi in them on the Accord.
