Thanks to this site, found that Radio and 12v outlet are using the same fuse.
There is no voltage at the outlet whereas the Radio is working fine.
Prior to buying a GPS unit, thought I will test the power supply. The outlet is never used before.
Any help on this problem is appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,
I think there is a separate fuse for the 12V outlet, check ur user manual...

Welcome to the forum pkband:wave:
It might be the connector on the back or a bad socket. I am not sure about a second fuse. I know the radio and lighter have their own fuse but that circuit is powered thru the ACC circuit also. To check connection you will have to remove the center console.
Our resident info expert Princess has directions posted in the following thread on console removal...http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=10479
Good luck

Finally got a chance to tackle this last weekend. The problem was the connector at the back , it was just lying on the floor.
One difficulty I had was on removing the center-console - I have a cassette player below the standard cd-radio. I could not figure out how to get the bottom trim surrounding the cassette deck out. Fortunately, I had the right-side panel of the center-console loosened enough to lift it without breaking it so that I could squeeze my hand through to get to the connector and snap it back into the back of the 12V socket.
While I was at it, I also changed the cabin air-filter thanks to the excellent instructions in this forum .
Thought I will share my experience. Thank you!
