Has anyone hear added XM radio to their '03 Accord that is equipped with the navigation? I am wondering both how the setup looks and functions. I really wish the '03 was XM ready like the '04 was.
Thanks in advance for any feedback!

**bump**
I'm pretty sure any of the early 7th gen Accords (03 - 05, NAVI and non-NAVI) that are not XM ready have to use this accessory:

I got that from http://www.handaaccessories.com/accord
Another option would be to use an aftermarket adapter to pip in XM but unless you do a video feed of some sort, I don't think an aftermarket XM add-on will display on the NAVI screen.

Thanks very much for the information, I have to look into that. The photo above is of the non-Navi, so I am curious where I would actually be able to place that unit.

How can you tell that the photo is from a non-navi Accord? Don't you have a cubby/cd storage container below your navi unit in the center stack?? If so, this unit would mount there and replace your cubby...

You may be correct, but as I would not have the tape unit above it, I figured I would end up with a lot of wasted space. I am not that familiar with the non-Navi units, but it appears to be a smaller space (cubby) than that in the Navi units with the opening door.
EDIT: looking further at the installation instructions, it seems that the entire "package" replaces the old area, and with no player included, it appears to have a new, smaller cubby in the bottom below where the XM unit would sit:

The tape player is a dealer installed option. NAVI and non-NAVI models would loose the covered storage area and it would be replaced by a 3 compartment shelf. One compartment would be the XM unit with a small cubby next to it and if an accessory tape / MP3 / in dash CD changer was not installed, you would have an open storage area on the top section.

Sirius has just shown a Honda adapter that is supposed to work on the 03 with navi and 04 and up with or without navi.I will try the adapter on my wife's 03 with navi and see if it works as soon as we get them in.

I just heard from my rep and he said this piece is supposed to ship by the end of January but he didn't seem too confident in that time frame.I'll keep ya posted.
