Had a nice day to wash the car and get the black winter film off of it. Not supposed to precipitate the next few days. Thought I would share.

Man that car is so clean it looks a little dirty because it is reflecting all the leaves on the ground.

Looks great. I really like those wheels. I'm hoping to see a few warm days soon so I can clean up my Accord too. Thanks for sharing!

Looks good.

I cleaned the Mazda up two weeks ago. Put on a couple of coats of wax. It was easy to blast it semi clean at the car wash this morning. :)

Ahhh, nothing like a mid winter clean up.....

Hell I was washing my car (2 bucket method) the other day WHILE it was raining... I often have to wash my car JUST to get the salt off and not really for the way it will look.... I just cant relax with a layer of salt on my car for too long...

Looks good, I'm liking those wheels too, they suit your car nicely.

I did a mid winter clean up last time the temps were above freezing and it
snowed 3-5" for the next 2 days:thumbsdow

Are you in my parents neighborhood? That looks mighty familiar. Without being to specific, do you live north of the river?

Thanks everyone for the nice remarks. It is now Sunday morning and thankfully no rain, snow or birds. PTL

Mwmcginn,
The pics were taken at my GF's house in Shawnee, KS, on the western side of the KC metro. It is a lovely 1970's neighborhood with lots of baby boomers. Not to many young kids around, nice and quiet. My home is in the Liberty area.

I cleaned mine up during Christmas holidays...nice good wash (foamgun + two bucket method) and a waxing. As much as I can't stand salt being on my car, I can sleep easier if there is a good coat of fresh sealant between that salt and my clearcoat...LOL

Also I noticed a few days ago a bird bombed my car (hood), and I didn't notice it for half a day or so after driving home from work. All it took was a little Spray and Wipe and it came off without any issues at all. :D
