I want to change the lights in the doors, the dome and map lights, and the license plate light on my 03 4dr accord... i want to go with either a hyper white or some type of blue i think it would look nice on with my cars color (graphite pearl)... my questions are... where would i get these bulbs/leds ? and what size should I get that will fit right in ? any help or point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

out of curiousity, why did you fog the lenses on the interior lights? does it add to the effect?

Thanks. We just like the tinted look. But it does have a nice affect with the blue.

yeah it looks really nice, i dont want to go too dark tho i want a bright and clear look to give it contrast... since the car's paint is graphite pearl.

Thank you! That site answers just about every question I had about getting new lights for my Accord.

That's an excellent resource.

Sup Guys!

I am somewhat interested in these interior lights that I came across on Ebay.

Is this installation just a quick swap replacement with the stock bulbs or is there more to the installation?

You would just replace your stock bulbs with those. However, that listing doesn't have an information on what part number those bulbs are. You can trust the title that they will fit in your Accord but my advice is to use this list (http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/AutoLRG-Results.htm) to see which bulbs you need and get them from V-LEDs (www.v-led.com).

I bought blue and bright white bulbs from V-LEDs. Hopefully they'll arrive tomorrow so I can install them and see which I like better. Pics to follow

Is this installation just a quick swap replacement with the stock bulbs...The installation is indeed a quick and simple swap of the bulbs. The dome-lights are festoon bulbs and the door-lights are wedge-bulbs.

I personally would pass on the ebay 'package' deals, you don't know precisely what LED bulbs your getting. Instead get (3) DE3175 LED bulbs (31mm) and (2) 194 LED bulbs from www.ebay.com or www.v-leds.com or www.superbrightleds.com. Choose the LED bulbs w/ the most individual LEDs and are refractor (spreads the light better).

Interior bulbs for '08 Accord...

- (2) DE3175 31mm bulb for front map-lights
- (1) DE3175 31mm bulb for rear dome-light
- (2-4) 194 wedge bulb for door courtesy-lights

- (1) 74 wedge bulb for ash-tray

Buying ala'carte from one seller on ebay (get combined/reduced s/h) generally is the cheapest method. The main-seller on there is a wholesaler to the online vendors.

You could be right. I may look into your recommendation. Great advice!

Sure thing ... from the pictures it looks like the VLEDs are pretty much the same thing but I wouldn't trust that listing since it's missing key information that you'll find on VLED's individual product pages

for reference, here's what I bought from VLEDs

1 HID WHITE HIGH POWER LICENSE PLATE LED BULB 194 168 158 - . $9.99
1 2 WHITE SMT 18 LED LIGHT BULBS 917 918 920 921 922 923 - . $34.99
3 SUPER BLUE 9 LED DOME LIGHT 3022 3021 DE3175 6428 6430 - . $20.97
3 HID WHITE 9 LED DOME LIGHT 3022 3021 DE3175 6428 6430 - . $20.97

That's a white LED for the license plate, two LEDs for reverse lights and white and blue LEDs for map and dome lights. Not sure whether I'll use white or blue for map/domes or if I'll keep the reverse lights .. I'll just return whatever I decide not to use

- (2-4) 194 wedge bulb for door courtesy-lights

- (1) 74 wedge bulb for ash-tray[/I]

Forgot about those, thanks Osiris
